Dr. Christina Clark has loved being a dentist since she graduated in 2010 from the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Her patients know when they work with her that it is not just a career, it is a passion. She has been in all types of private practice settings as well as being selected to be a member of the faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston where she taught Dental Esthetics, Restorative, and Prosthodontics. Dr. Christina Clark has published several articles related to conservative dentistry and recent advances that have come about to save teeth when possible.
One of the reasons Dr. Clark enjoys dentistry because there are so many different options to help patients achieve their dental goals – whether it be improving their smile so they have more confidence or just improving overall oral health – she will discuss all options and planning to get them there.
Her favorite advancement in dentistry is the introduction of CAD/CAM. Having the technology and training to utilize this amazing improvement allows her to be more conservative in treatment options for her patients. She loves that in many cases she is able to do smaller restorations that can be delivered the same day instead of having the laboratory to fabricate them which can be a process that can take several weeks.
Dr. Clark is also serving as a Major in the Texas Army National Guard. She has received both the Adjunct General Individual Award and The Army Commendation Medal- for exceptional meritorious service, while serving as a dental officer.
