Ernesto Prida, DDS the McKinney Dentist
Originally from Havana, Cuba, Doctor Prida boasts years of experience as a dentist and is a proud veteran of the US Army. During his active duty in the US Army from 1999 to 2005, not only did he serve as a helicopter mechanic, but he also learned the rigorous effort required to serve and protect. Transitioning to academic pursuits, he studied Mechanical Engineering, Biology, and Chemistry at Austin Peay State University in TN. It was here that he found his true passion: dentistry. Subsequently, he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, earning his Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS). Simultaneously, while in dental school, Doctor Prida joined the Texas Army National Guard, continuing his service to the country and the state of Texas until 2018.
One of Doctor Prida's favorite aspects of dentistry is building long-term relationships with his patients. Furthermore, he's dedicated to continuous learning, regularly enrolling in continuing education courses. Through this, he stays abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. Such training equips him with experience in treating patients of all ages and mastering all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative, pediatric, endodontic, dental implants, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
